A button on the bottom of OpenOffice which performs the same action as the user copying a file to the CheckInToPublishFolder but much easier for the user [Screen Shots - CheckOut/Edit/CheckIn Document].
A computer file folder (directory) within a MyStevedoreFolder, H:\MyStevedore\CheckInToPublish. This folder is monitored by Stevedore. The Editor drags a modified file from the MyStevedoreFolder to this folder (moves not copies) when editing of the new version is completed. [Screen Shots - CheckOut/Edit/CheckIn Document]. Files that are placed in this folder trigger Stevedore to update the editable variant of the document, then publishes it (converts it to a viewable web page and PDF formatted file).
A button on the bottom of the Firefox web browser which performs the same action as the user copying a file to the CheckOutFolder, but much easier for the user [Screen Shots - CheckOut/Edit/CheckIn Document].
A computer file folder (directory) within a MyStevedoreFolder, H:\MyStevedore\CheckInToPublish. This folder is monitored by Stevedore. Files that are placed in this folder trigger Stevedore to place an editable variant of the document into the MyStevedoreFolder for use by the Editor. Stevedore removes the original file from the CheckOutFolder once the editable variant is in the MyStevedoreFolder [Screen Shots - CheckOut/Edit/CheckIn Document].
